TikTok is influencing Halloween purchases: across verticals, TikTok was offering brands opportunities to engage with tiktok users in their  Halloween campaigns. 25% of TikTok users discovered a new food product or recipe through content on the app, whilst 49% bought a beauty product after seeing it on TikTok.

This Halloween, Snapchat have stepped in to help shop the season’s hottest costumes. Now, you can try on, share with friends and buy costumes of your favourite characters including Disney characters, Squid Game, Stranger Things, Minecraft, Power Rangers, Transformers, Chucky, The Office and Ghostbusters- all without having to step foot in store.

 

People can take a Snap and Snapchat’s vision technology will apply the product image onto your photo instantly, as if you were already wearing the costume. Once you’re ready to buy- you don’t need to leave the app at all to purchase the costumes.
