We’re happy to be working with Marketing Liverpool on their summer campaign! They appointed us after a competitive tender with eleven agencies involved, and we couldn’t be more pleased that we were chosen to help bring back footfall to Liverpool with restrictions easing.
ALL ABOUT: THE CAMPAIGN
Marketing Liverpool’s major summer campaign is aimed at tourism recovery to bring back footfall, and spend to the city now the nation is slowly returning to normality.
We needed to help Marketing Liverpool showcase the offerings and attractions with the city and wider city areas; so we carefully planned the campaign with the most engaging creatives to reach their key audiences. The campaign is titled Get Away To It All, and it’s live now.
The creatives will appear on video on demand and digital advertising across Manchester, Yorkshire, North Wales and the Midlands. The creatives will also feature short films and photography; showcasing the best of the area.
The campaign is a key step into helping the visitor economy sector to recover. Alongside culture, food and drink, the advertising also aims to inspire days at the beach, walks and cycling adventures around the greater area. Get Away To It All also pushes to inform people of the wider range of what’s on offer, in case they didn’t already know. This means the campaign will hit all points and possible tourist destinations, attracting a wide reach of people.

Marketing Liverpool’s is Liverpool’s destination marketing organisation (DMO) and it promotes the city region as a global destination for visitors, conventions and investment.
Established in 2013, it is a division of Liverpool City Council and is responsible for communicating the city’s brand positively and imaginatively to local, national and global audiences.
