GET TO KNOW: BEN DOBSON - THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE CTM TEAM

Say Hello 👋 to the newest member of the MAG & CTM creative team – Ben Dobson. Get to know him a little more below 👇

Hey Ben, tell us a little about yourself!

Hi guys, I’m Ben and I am 34 years young. I live in Swinton with my girlfriend and our brand new baby girl Eva, who is 3 months old (so if I have bags under my eyes you know why haha). I’m a design junkie and try to learn about anything creative. I have a passion for retro electronic music and have started recently composing my own tracks for Soundcloud.

So, what will you be doing within the creative team?

I hope to be working on lots of interesting design projects, using my creative flair to produce some cool and unique pieces of work that will be engaging to our clients.

Have you always worked in design?

Yes, since as far as I can remember – design has always been a big part of my life, before education and after.

How have you been keeping creative through the lockdown? 

I have worked as a freelance designer and personal projects to keep my creative juices flowing.

What was it that made you want to join the MAG/CTM team?

Your offices are above Nando’s. Only joking – it looks like a really good company to work for and I hope to learn lots in the digital and marketing industry - and meet some lovely new people.

Do you have any design tips for anyone looking to refresh their creatives?

Keep on top of current design trends and the simplest of idea’s are always more effective. Don’t overthink and don’t convolute.
